Cemetery Clean-up Drive with PREX
Once again, we were happy to sponsor the Clean-up Drive of our public cemetery in Cadaruhan, Borbon, Cebu last October 28,2009. Due to the unavailability of volunteers and considering the big job on hand, our organization partnered with PREX (Parish Renewal Experience) Organization to make this project possible.
Our appreciation and THANK YOU to the the PREX (Parish Renewal Experience) Youth Council for being our partner in this year’s activity. We really appreciate all the support of its officers and the hardwork of its members during the clean-up at both the “ubos” and “ibabaw” nga menteryo. Hope our two organizations can do more projects and activities in the near future.
THANKS to Mhet Novabos who donated (for the 2nd year), LUNCH PACKAGE for all volunteers. May God bless you even more!
THANKS to all TAGA-BORBON Volunteers who helped in our CEMETERY CLEAN-UP Drive 2009.
If you want to extend financial help or donation to our 2010 Clean-up Project, please contact us via email. Please do, ALL for the LOVE of BORBON!
Wheelchair Donated to a Saling-it student
We would like to thank Ms. Richelle Iway Naito, currently based in Japan, for donating a brand new wheelchair to Sosordy Gedoquio, 24 year old, grade 1 pupil of Saling-it Elementary School.
Below is an excerpt from our local president, Ms. Alma Mondigo about how they met Sosordy and came to know about his needs for easier mobility and transportation to school.

Si Sosordy Gedoquio diay..ang 24-year old nga grade 1 pupil sa saling-it
namarayeg jud intawn og wheelchair. Ingon iya teacher kugihan jud ayo to
Gwen apan dili man diay na
mohatag if dili makita personal..apan wala man sila ikapamlete ngadto
pakigkita kang Gov.
Mapasalamaton kaayo ta nga at the same time nga nag feeding ta sa
saling-it, nitawag ang sister ni Riza. Mao to nahisgutan sa need, dayon
ni commit jud siya og wheelchair. Karon napalit na ang wheelchair og
ready for turn-over na lang. Aside sa wheelchair, gipapustan sad niya
ang 69 pupils og assorted school supplies. Kay pwerte luoya sa mga bata
didto..mga plastic lang intawn ang himuong bag..ang mga lapis nila
niadto pang last year..pugdol na kaayo.

The turnover of the wheelchair and the distribution of the supplies (bugas, de lata, sabon, etc.) was made last July 23, 2009. Richelle is the sister of one of our active TAGA-BORBON Volunteers, Riza Iway.
Our Lugaw Feeding activities to the four upland barangays and this turnover of the wheelchair were also coordinated and noted by the Borbon Public School Supervisor, Mrs. Teresita Doronio.
Thanks to Alma and company for these pictures.
Barangay Magdolinog Lugaw Feeding
Our 4th and last recipient for our TAGA-BORBON Lugaw Feeding Community Outreach project are the 80+ beautiful kids of Barangay Magdolinog.
BIG THANKS to our local president, Ms. Alma Mondigo and the following hardworking volunteers for making these kids happy and full. Without our active volunteers who set aside some of their valuable time to for this community outreach project, our TAGA-BORBON Organization noble ideas will not be possible.
